Transcript: I think I had a thought earlier today. I'm going to try to remember it if I can. It was about time. And I think by going on this trip, so I just got back from Red Rock and it was amazing. It was really great. But okay, two things so I don't forget. One is really the private layer of the burrito kind of stuff, like letting that actually all be private and being able to publish individual references, but not necessarily needing to publish all of the raw material. I think that's a really important distinction and would make a lot more sense because it allows for the journal kind of stuff and it also allows for then the journals to be externalized in a way that is processed instead of raw. I think that's really useful. The second thing is thinking about time how important it was for me to go on this trip. And if anything, it as a force function to me doing other things. Like because I was going on this trip, I had to kind of get other shit in my life in order. It was also just such a great step back that I could do that. And I'm so fucking grateful that I could just step back and spend this time with friends and make a fire. And, you know, that's about it. And just how wonderful that whole experience was. And being stoked for people and seeing them crush it. That was amazing. I would gladly trade my phone for that experience because my phone got ran over by many cars. It is what it is. And I am just so fucking grateful. So I'm happy to be home. I do really want to journal and find a journaling space for myself. I guess this is going to be it for now. And I will probably start modifying Burrito in some ways to be better. And I also definitely need to send a message to Ollie specifically. Thank you. Thank you.
Feeling exhausted but content, the speaker reflects on their constant work and aspirations to improve processes, like making John's burrito preparation faster. They acknowledge that their current project may have flaws, but see potential for it to be a dynamic back-end platform with multiple uses. The speaker expresses a desire to create something novel and valuable, while also fostering a space for both public and private sharing. Amidst these professional goals, they cherish personal connections, such as a satisfying morning of surfing with friends.
I had a beneficial conversation with John, who helped me work through my thoughts and appreciated his support in allowing me to talk things out. We discussed building a simple intention website that John sketched, considering the addition of GPS functionality due to its importance for intention-based actions, and the possibility of an AI assisting with small tasks based on one's intentions. Despite my aversion to login pages, John made me realize it's acceptable to ask for passwords on a website, and that a solution to eliminate logins can be addressed later. This talk has energized me for the week, and I'm excited about working on this intention website project, hopeful about committing to it longer term, and grateful for the sense of direction it provides.

Today was quite eventful for me. It started off with a peaceful morning where I enjoyed coffee and eggs; I love waking up naturally. My work focused on making various installations easier to manage in a private version of Burrito, aiming for smoother access and queries - a slow but steady process. Apart from work, I engaged in several conversations and calls throughout the day. My first discussion was with Nick, pondering over the potential of starting a company related to a hotel concept we thought of. It's an idea I need to dwell on more tonight. Lunch was home-cooked ramen, a comforting choice. Catching up with John over a call was refreshing; we discussed meeting in person soon. Then there was the OKPC call, where financial updates were a key topic. My day ended on a high note with an excellent climbing session with Patrick. It's been a productive and fulfilling day.
This morning started off late due to a restless night dreaming about the Vision Pro, but it turned out wonderfully. I played disc golf with my friend Ryan and managed to get some writing done, which felt awesome. Later, Keith joined us for more disc golf, and we also spent some time slacklining. I biked to and from the disc golf course, adding a pleasant touch to the day. For lunch, I tried a new place called Chris Ono Grinds and had their volcano chicken, which unfortunately didn't meet my expectations due to its excessive sweetness. Despite that, the day was filled with simple joys like spending quality time with friends without any drama or expectations, just enjoying each other's company. As for the rest of my plans, I'm contemplating a trip to Culp Valley but also recognize the need to focus on completing tasks and making food for myself. Though I want to balance leisure and productivity, I'm aiming for a more significant focus to achieve meaningful progress. In essence, today reinforced the importance of connecting with friends and finding balance in life's activities.

Today was eventful with a pleasant dinner party I hosted for Caroline, Patrick, and Kyle, reuniting this group for the first time in two years. The evening was filled with meaningful conversations, vulnerability, and appreciation for the company. I also visited Nick to help with their business spreadsheets, exploring potential additional income. Tomorrow's plans include a bike ride to Mnemonic to spend time writing and reflecting on recent discussions, fueled by energy and an espresso.

The speaker is reflecting on their experience with making audio burrito posts, noting that it often requires multiple attempts to get into the correct mindset—similar to drafting written posts. They're grappling with the challenge of monologuing without a clear understanding of the audience, as they are aware that at least John and CJ will hear it, but uncertainty about the wider audience affects their ability to communicate effectively. This creates a 'contextual membrane shakiness' as the speaker finds the lack of audience boundaries difficult to navigate, which they recognize may vary among different people. The speaker concludes by deciding to end the current note and start a new one.

Welcome to my burrito place! I'm testing out CJ's new gadget and hoping it captures my thoughts accurately despite my struggle with stream-of-consciousness voice notes. My goal is to document my food discoveries in London and eventually identify and share my favorite spots. Enjoy your visit and the food recommendations that will follow!

The author contemplates the process of converting an audio note into a transcript, then summarizing it on their "burrito" page. They express a desire to adjust the summarization voice to better represent themselves on the page. Recognizing that this feature may not have widespread appeal, the author nonetheless sees value in providing users with controls to personalize their "burrito." The concept of allowing users to fine-tune their experience is seen as an intriguing possibility.
