Yesterday for breakfast, I had potato hash. Lunch consisted of chicken mushrooms and rice, and for dinner, I enjoyed potato tacos at Kim and Jordan's place. It was a great evening spent catching up with them.

The user had steak and a garden salad with kale, romaine, fish sauce, and mint for supper. They also had ramen with garden greens for lunch and breakfast tacos with leftover chicken for breakfast. They enjoyed a bunch of chocolate throughout the day and felt like their body needed it. They also went for a walk and talked to their mom. Overall, they had a filling day of food.

Today, for breakfast, I indulged in two aloo parathas along with eggs and pickled onions, courtesy of Kim and Jordan. My lunch was rather light, consisting mainly of snacks. Dinner was an enjoyable affair with garlic chicken paired with leftover couscous and salad, with the arugula salad turning out exceptionally well. I noted the dish could benefit from a bit more acidity, perhaps with the addition of tomatoes, but even without, it was phenomenal. It’s a meal I’d consider serving on a date. I’m planning to record another one because it’s just that great. Thank you.

Had a decent time trying ramen at Kitakata Ramen, enjoyed the gyoza with yuzu chili paste, and contemplated buying some for home use. Made a routine stop at Costco for necessities, including chicken, oil, and a nod to a growing sparkling water habit, then visited Camellia Road, a favored spot. Met Caroline, a coffee roaster and owner of Cozy Canine Coffee, where a purchase supports the San Diego Humane Society. Wrapped up the day considering whether to watch the Super Bowl while multitasking with work-related tasks.

The user had a wonderful start to the day by having an almond croissant and an espresso at Syndicate Coffee and Bakery. They enjoyed the acidity in the espresso and found the croissant to be flaky and delicious. The user was grateful for the Reddit recommendation and found the stop at the bakery to be perfect on their way to Rocky Peak.

I fulfilled my 2024 goal of deepening relationships tonight. I rode my bike looking for puddles to splash in after the rain, but found none. Instead, I had a rewarding conversation with Claire and Sam at Ichiban. This interaction was very satisfying.
