Comment: A wonderful start to the day

Transcript: I just had an almond croissant and an espresso at Syndicate Coffee and Bakery and it was, both were absolutely fantastic in my opinion. It was just like an absolutely wonderful cup of espresso. I've only had a couple but holy shit, just like the acidity that I'm experiencing in an espresso is very different than a lot of coffees. Just getting that potent hit of acidity, I really love that flavor and it's a flavor that I wouldn't expect out of coffee and just killer, absolutely killer. So that was awesome and the croissant also was just so flaky and delicious. Really really good place. Thank you Reddit for having the recommendation, perfect little stop. I'm so glad that I got to stop at a place on the way over to Rocky Peak and now 35 minutes away from Rocky Peak, hopefully some folks there, maybe I'll throw together like a little bit of oatmeal or something, I don't know yet, I'll follow up on that later. But yeah, pretty sweet, really fucking delicious. Two minutes to say about some food, you know it's good. So yeah, really really really nice.

Today was eventful with a pleasant dinner party I hosted for Caroline, Patrick, and Kyle, reuniting this group for the first time in two years. The evening was filled with meaningful conversations, vulnerability, and appreciation for the company. I also visited Nick to help with their business spreadsheets, exploring potential additional income. Tomorrow's plans include a bike ride to Mnemonic to spend time writing and reflecting on recent discussions, fueled by energy and an espresso.

Chandler and I enjoyed an okay morning surfing at 7th Street, tackling some fun four to six-foot waves. The beach was crowded with family, but we still had a good time. Afterward, we headed to Bird Rock for a croissant, a cortado, and a chat about my latest work on the demo, which got him excited. Left feeling good and looking forward to the next steps.

I had an energetic afternoon which started with a bike ride to an unnamed café near the university for espresso. Spending time mostly outdoors, I worked with two notebooks and my iPad, realizing that the lack of a traditional computer and a change of environment encouraged different styles of thinking. This alternative thinking helped me make progress towards creating something akin to a pitch deck. Afterward, I went for another bike ride to channel my excess energy and am now planning my weekend, focusing on preparing for the upcoming week rather than working intensively.
