Transcript: So yesterday, for breakfast, I had potato hash. For lunch, I had my chicken mushrooms and rice, which was delicious. Today, for breakfast, I indulged in two aloo parathas along with eggs and pickled onions, courtesy of Kim and Jordan. My lunch was rather light, consisting mainly of snacks. Dinner was an enjoyable affair with garlic chicken paired with leftover couscous and salad, with the arugula salad turning out exceptionally well. I noted the dish could benefit from a bit more acidity, perhaps with the addition of tomatoes, but even without, it was phenomenal. It’s a meal I’d consider serving on a date. I’m planning to record another one because it’s just that great. Thank you.

Yesterday was an amazing day for me. I spent the morning making samosas with Jono, which was a great experience, especially learning to deep fry for the first time. We tried various fillings, including lamb and potato, and made our own tamarind and mint chutneys. Though we realized we could improve the fillings, the process was enjoyable, and sharing fresh young coconut with Jono was the highlight of my day. The joy of that simple moment was unparalleled. Later, I had a brief chat with Josie, cleaned up, and headed to Juggling Club on my bike. There, I caught up with friends, Edgar, Jack, and met someone new, possibly named Matt or Mike. Ray joined us too, and catching up with him was so nice that I invited him over for dinner. We spent about five or six hours just talking. For dinner, I made garlic chicken and a kale salad with feta, bell pepper, and a lemon Dijon olive oil vinaigrette with a hint of dill, which turned out pleasantly. Overall, the day left me feeling grateful for the shared experiences and simple joys.

I fulfilled my 2024 goal of deepening relationships tonight. I rode my bike looking for puddles to splash in after the rain, but found none. Instead, I had a rewarding conversation with Claire and Sam at Ichiban. This interaction was very satisfying.

Tonight at Jono's Pool Party 2024, I got to experience so many wonderful moments and tastes. We blended our favorite tunes for DJing, played water volleyball, and even indulged in hot tub ice cream. Rachel and I discussed future video plans, while Kennith's painting session added a creative flair. Heartfelt hugs with Ishmael, discovering Gabby's cool phone spot, savoring salmon skins with Arie, performing a backwards dive from the hot tub to the pool, and reflecting on life's challenges with a climbing analogy made the night unforgettable. The feast was just as memorable, featuring double portions of salmon, Chelsea's three-bean salad, Jono's garlic bread and homemade crackers, and a dessert extravaganza by Alexa including a passion fruit custard mixer, lemon bar dessert, and an intricate ice cream cake. The cheese wheel, Emily's drink bar with lavender lemonade and sangria, Vishal's refreshing blueberry lemonade and homemade mai tai, Meghan's quinoa salad, John's generous 100 lumpia contribution, and mouth-watering tacos with pickled onions wrapped up an evening filled with joy, creativity, and connections.
