Transcript: This evening I had Patrick, Kyle, and Claire over for dinner and board games. And it was a nice evening. I made chicken and apricots and spinach from a New York Times recipe, and that was pretty nice. I enjoyed it. Patrick seemed to enjoy it. It's quite similar in terms of the one pot nature as the other thing. It's the same onions. Put the onions around the side. Put the chicken in the middle. Do the thing. Throw some shit in it. Throw some other shit in it. Pretty basic. Starting to get an idea that this is just something you can do to make one pot meals, basically. Onions. Classic onions. And we had that with a kale salad, which was really nice. And the kale that I got from Specialty Produce is just... Absolutely fire. And some rice. Super simple. Pretty dang good. The toasted almonds, big hit. Really good. And beyond all that, we had a fantastic time playing The Crew, which I really enjoyed. And I'm really glad that everyone else seemed to enjoy it as well. It took a little bit for us to all get into it. And get the rhythm. But once we did, it was good. Definitely starting to get difficult there at the end. And need to think more about, you know, how to play trick-taking games effectively. Also, thinking about Easter. Need a plan for that. And also specifically plan to go to Grandpa's place for at least a day around Easter. That's something really, really important to me. And I would love to learn how to play bridge. And this is something that I don't want to forget by the time I go up there. So, I'd love to spend a day with him playing and learning bridge.

Today was eventful with a pleasant dinner party I hosted for Caroline, Patrick, and Kyle, reuniting this group for the first time in two years. The evening was filled with meaningful conversations, vulnerability, and appreciation for the company. I also visited Nick to help with their business spreadsheets, exploring potential additional income. Tomorrow's plans include a bike ride to Mnemonic to spend time writing and reflecting on recent discussions, fueled by energy and an espresso.

Today, for breakfast, I indulged in two aloo parathas along with eggs and pickled onions, courtesy of Kim and Jordan. My lunch was rather light, consisting mainly of snacks. Dinner was an enjoyable affair with garlic chicken paired with leftover couscous and salad, with the arugula salad turning out exceptionally well. I noted the dish could benefit from a bit more acidity, perhaps with the addition of tomatoes, but even without, it was phenomenal. It’s a meal I’d consider serving on a date. I’m planning to record another one because it’s just that great. Thank you.
The user made a delicious chicken, onion, and mushroom dish for dinner. They found it to be flavorful but noted that there was too much water, possibly requiring them to drain it or concentrate the flavors. They are looking forward to enjoying the meal for the rest of the week, especially with rice.

Yesterday was an amazing day for me. I spent the morning making samosas with Jono, which was a great experience, especially learning to deep fry for the first time. We tried various fillings, including lamb and potato, and made our own tamarind and mint chutneys. Though we realized we could improve the fillings, the process was enjoyable, and sharing fresh young coconut with Jono was the highlight of my day. The joy of that simple moment was unparalleled. Later, I had a brief chat with Josie, cleaned up, and headed to Juggling Club on my bike. There, I caught up with friends, Edgar, Jack, and met someone new, possibly named Matt or Mike. Ray joined us too, and catching up with him was so nice that I invited him over for dinner. We spent about five or six hours just talking. For dinner, I made garlic chicken and a kale salad with feta, bell pepper, and a lemon Dijon olive oil vinaigrette with a hint of dill, which turned out pleasantly. Overall, the day left me feeling grateful for the shared experiences and simple joys.
