Met Amanda, who has a blue Chris Ruddy board around nine feet long, similar tail to mine. She's always cheerful and we chatted briefly in and out of the water. She got in after me but left before I did, and both of us only caught one powerful wave with lots of speed.

The surfer had an intense session at Sunset Cliffs, where the waves were extremely big and powerful. They struggled with the strong currents while using a 6.5-foot board, finding it difficult to duck dive and paddle to their intended spot. The surfer ended up at South Garbage instead of North Garbage due to the strong drift. The waves at South were described as enormous and the situation was compounded by many inexperienced surfers in the water, posing additional risks. Overall, the experience was described as extremely intense.

Another exhausting day of surfing left the writer's body feeling drained, especially the shoulders. The session, however, was enjoyable and unique due to the foggy conditions, creating a beautiful light rainbow effect. Despite slow starts and some funky waves, the waves were better than recent sessions, allowing for good maneuvers. Post-surf, the writer plans to relax, shower, and run errands, including a stop at the co-op and possibly the water store. Surfing's physical toll is evident, and the writer contemplates the need for a different exercise routine and more stretching.

The surf at Sunset Cliffs was unusually erratic today, possibly due to a mix of swells or low tide, though bigger waves and good size were still present. The break was primarily lefts, with the usual solid right closing out. Despite long waits between sets and a challenging surf, the session was still enjoyable and worth the effort.

Had an incredible surfing session with stellar waves, catching around 20-30 solid ones, despite forgetting my leash and the low tide making the inside peaks dangerous. Didn’t see any dolphins, but the sunset was breathtaking, and it felt like a soul-healing experience. Moving my sister’s stuff was stressful, but the ocean restored my peace. Elbow’s not fully healed, but I’m stoked and hopeful to catch up tomorrow, either surfing or grabbing coffee. Love and gratitude.

The SARF report describes an excellent surfing session, with beautiful, glassy waves and a great start to the day. The surfer spent two hours out, beginning at North Garbage, which was initially beautiful and crowded. After a friendly wave-sharing experience with another surfer, the spot got too packed, leading the surfer to move to South Garbage for more enjoyable waves. Despite initially feeling unwell, the surfer felt great after surfing and plans to head to Bikes del Pueblo next, looking forward to an eventful day.
