This morning, after sleeping in, I enjoyed a slow start, making eggs with shallots and riding my bike to Mnemonic for a unique and fantastic espresso. I spent around two hours at Mnemonic writing and thinking, followed by a bike ride to Tacos El Gordo before returning home. Back home, I experimented with purified water for coffee brewing and general health reasons, purchasing three gallons from OB Water to see if it makes a difference. I'm ending my day with plans to read "Positioning" and acknowledging that my to-do list will likely extend into the weekend.

I had an energetic afternoon which started with a bike ride to an unnamed café near the university for espresso. Spending time mostly outdoors, I worked with two notebooks and my iPad, realizing that the lack of a traditional computer and a change of environment encouraged different styles of thinking. This alternative thinking helped me make progress towards creating something akin to a pitch deck. Afterward, I went for another bike ride to channel my excess energy and am now planning my weekend, focusing on preparing for the upcoming week rather than working intensively.

Today was eventful with a pleasant dinner party I hosted for Caroline, Patrick, and Kyle, reuniting this group for the first time in two years. The evening was filled with meaningful conversations, vulnerability, and appreciation for the company. I also visited Nick to help with their business spreadsheets, exploring potential additional income. Tomorrow's plans include a bike ride to Mnemonic to spend time writing and reflecting on recent discussions, fueled by energy and an espresso.

After a surfing session, the speaker meditated on the beach and witnessed a rescue from a rip current before meeting up with Caroline at a health food bar. They value the quality time and meaningful conversations shared with Caroline, appreciating her attentiveness. Later, the speaker had a productive and enjoyable call with Pascal, helping with technical issues and discussing Pascal's potential move to LA. The day ended with plans for a simple meal, enjoying the simplicity of bagels from PL bagels and looking forward to an avocado bagel with egg the next day.

I just got home at 6:45 after biking to Golden Hill Park for a couple of hours of slacklining, which was really nice. I met someone named Reese, who's relatively new to slacklining but knows Alonzo and has attended one of his gatherings. It was cool meeting him. I really enjoyed trying to master slacklining, and I feel like I made some progress today. I'm looking forward to doing more slacklining soon, hopefully with others later this week.

I fulfilled my 2024 goal of deepening relationships tonight. I rode my bike looking for puddles to splash in after the rain, but found none. Instead, I had a rewarding conversation with Claire and Sam at Ichiban. This interaction was very satisfying.
