Comment: Surf plan
Transcript: The stoke is high for big surf. Maybe 8 to 10. We'll see. We're going to Swami's, me and Chandler. We'll see what happens. I'm borrowing a board from him. It just feels like crazy, you know? Like so much energy, so much stoke. Also, I had one of the best cups of coffee I've ever made this morning. Just in terms of like, you know, everything. It just was a really nice tasting cup of coffee. And I'm stoked about that. There's still a little bit of improvement to go. But I'm stoked. I'm driving to Swami's right now to go and meet Chandler. So we'll see what's up. And we'll go from there. But it's going to be a healthy day for me and David. And out there we'll find out a lot of fun stuff. And I'm excited about it. www.mooji.org

This project serves as a reminder to be grateful, mostly because reflections revolve around things that bring happiness and gratitude, highlighting a positive default mindset. After a morning surf at Swami's with a longboard lent by Kyle, the experience was a mix of thrilling drops and spills, as well as an adjustment to the board's different feel and the technique required to maneuver it. The waves at Swami's were mellow enough to encourage trying without much fear, making the session enjoyable despite a few wipeouts. Despite the stormy conditions with wind and rain, the day turned out better than expected, providing mediocre to good waves for surfing, making it a pleasantly surprising day.
I had a fun surf session at Swami's with decent, but not exceptional, waves and started off catching a solid one. I ran into Gregory, which made the time more enjoyable, as I usually catch a fair number of waves there. There was an incident with an overly aggressive surfer, which was disappointing; he was upset about someone dropping in on him even though it's a common occurrence at Swami's and the other surfer had signaled his intent. Overall, it was a good day, I got to see dolphins while leaving the water, and I spent my time chilling and singing acoustic melodies both in my head and out loud.
The surfer had an incredible day out on the waves, despite initially expecting poor conditions. They made a quick decision to head out after checking the camera. The waves turned out to be amazing, with the surfer enjoying numerous exhilarating rides, including a particularly memorable one towards the end. They also mentioned plans to surf with a friend the next day and expressed enthusiasm for the anticipated 6 to 8-foot waves. Despite the intense physical activity, the surfer felt strong and barely experienced any discomfort.

I enjoyed making breakfast tacos and surfing at Del Mar with Chandler, appreciating both the company and the activity after a long hiatus. The waves were relatively mellow at four to five feet, contributing to a serene surfing experience. The day brought a refreshing change of pace, focusing on writing and reflection rather than my usual building activities. Overall, it was a good and relaxed start to the morning with contemplation as the primary agenda for the day.

Chandler and I enjoyed an okay morning surfing at 7th Street, tackling some fun four to six-foot waves. The beach was crowded with family, but we still had a good time. Afterward, we headed to Bird Rock for a croissant, a cortado, and a chat about my latest work on the demo, which got him excited. Left feeling good and looking forward to the next steps.

I fulfilled my 2024 goal of deepening relationships tonight. I rode my bike looking for puddles to splash in after the rain, but found none. Instead, I had a rewarding conversation with Claire and Sam at Ichiban. This interaction was very satisfying.
