Transcript: One interesting thing about all of today is how, by committing to a day off, it feels like I've lived multiple lifetimes today. And what a difference that is, and what a difference it makes, is how it's only 3pm. I've only been here for 6 hours, but I've lived a lifetime in this place. What a strange and wonderful experience to have, to be able to slow down to the degree that I have, and really experience and get to enjoy the world without rushing. And yeah, I'm just grateful to have time, and be alive, and have two feet, and two good legs, and be able to keep moving through the world. And I'm grateful for all the people that I met today, and all the people I will meet in the future. And I'm happy to have spent this lifetime the way that I did today, and there's much of a day left, and I'm going to show up the best I can, and keep moving forward, and try to show up and spread joy if I can. That's all, because I had a good day, and I hope other people have a good day too. So, yeah, that's that.

Today was an incredibly energetic and successful day for me. I maintained high energy levels throughout, even though I experienced a slight dip in the afternoon. The highlight was bringing the Mac mini network to life, which now runs a real machine learning model on commodity hardware capable of serving a production-grade API. This milestone makes me extremely excited and marks a significant achievement in the stability and capability of our API. Additionally, I cooked a delicious spinach, garlic, and butter pasta for lunch, with plenty left over for future meals. I also have enough chicken and couscous for another meal, ensuring a tasty week ahead. In the evening, I enjoyed outdoor activities, including riding my bike and slacklining with my friend Ryan in the park. Following this, I had a productive call with Dave and concluded my day with a simple dinner. As the day comes to an end, I plan to meditate and sort out my climbing gear, though I might skip showering since I'll be surfing tomorrow. A bit of kitchen cleanup is also on my to-do list, but overall, I feel immensely satisfied with how the day unfolded. Now, it's time to wind down, embrace the feeling of tiredness, and allow myself to take a much-deserved break.
This past week has been incredibly hectic for me, with hardly any time to rest or catch my breath. Despite the chaos, I'm excited about all that I've been doing. My week has been packed with family visits, including a nice Easter celebration at my grandparents' place and having one of my grandfathers over at our house. I got to enjoy some outdoor activities as well, like stand-up paddleboarding at Lower Lake Clementine and going on a snowy hike at Mount Laguna with friends—a rare sight for April. Amid these adventures, there were cozy gatherings, like a dinner I hosted with friends where I made a mushroom stew I was particularly proud of, and another where we celebrated Jordan's birthday at a place called Raised by Wolves. Even with all the socializing and outdoor exploits, I still managed to find time for personal activities, like slacklining and planning workouts. Looking ahead, I have plans to meet up with Kristen before dropping her off at the airport and am anticipating the launch of something by the end of the week. Despite the excitement of these busy days, part of me longs for relaxation, though I'm not quite sure what that will entail yet. Reflections and the need to clear my mind are also on the horizon as I endeavor to keep moving forward every day.
I had an energetic afternoon which started with a bike ride to an unnamed café near the university for espresso. Spending time mostly outdoors, I worked with two notebooks and my iPad, realizing that the lack of a traditional computer and a change of environment encouraged different styles of thinking. This alternative thinking helped me make progress towards creating something akin to a pitch deck. Afterward, I went for another bike ride to channel my excess energy and am now planning my weekend, focusing on preparing for the upcoming week rather than working intensively.

I fulfilled my 2024 goal of deepening relationships tonight. I rode my bike looking for puddles to splash in after the rain, but found none. Instead, I had a rewarding conversation with Claire and Sam at Ichiban. This interaction was very satisfying.
