Transcript: Uh, initially the plan today was to be up at 5.30, definitely was not up at 5.30. I woke up, but I said, fuck that I need more sleep. So I slept until 6.30 it's now 7, 7, 15 and getting the day going. And yeah, I just went to bed way too late last night. Um, I'm not down with just getting like six hours of sleep. So seven is better. Seven and a half is better. And yeah, I guess time to get rip in.

I did not get out of bed when my alarm went off at 6:30; instead, I opened my eyes at 6:38 without any valid excuse. I wonder if those extra eight minutes of lying in bed genuinely benefited me or improved my life. Despite questioning whether to get up or sleep more, seven and a half hours of sleep should have been reasonable. So, ultimately, I acknowledge that there are no excuses for not waking up on time.
I overslept by 20 minutes this morning due to feeling unwell, but waking up at 5:50 am rather than 5:30 am doesn't concern me too much. Despite not being on time, I appreciate how rising early shapes the start of my day. After waking, I had coffee and planned to make eggs soon to address my hunger. My thoughts are occupied with the challenges of getting a startup off the ground, acknowledging that it's a significant undertaking but ultimately a positive one.
I woke up at 6:30 today but finally got out of bed around 7:00, admitting I'm not doing great with waking up early. I have plans to go surfing with Chandler tomorrow at 6:30 in Del Mar, which means I need to be awake by 5:55, ideally, to get out of bed on time. I might consider getting up at 6:00, but I'll have to think about that.

Adding thoughts to the burrito and knowing others might read them motivates me more than keeping them to myself. My goal is to wake up at 5:45 a.m. tomorrow, and it's currently 10:15 p.m., which should allow for seven and a half hours of sleep. However, I probably won't sleep for another half hour, so I'm expecting to get less than seven hours. Accepting this lack of sleep is routine for me, and I'm ready to tackle the challenge tomorrow.

I woke up naturally at 5:37am, just before my alarm, after less than 7 hours of sleep. Despite going to bed late at 10:40pm, I quickly fell asleep and even had a dream about playing disc golf with professionals. The dream may be a sign that it's time for me to take up disc golf again. I'm heading to SWAMI's and hoping Chandler will join me there.
