Climbing with Pat
I reunited with Patrick at the climbing gym after a month apart, which provided a good opportunity to catch up and climb together. I enjoyed leading a few routes without pushing my limits, finding the moderate workout satisfying and noting the climb was not too challenging. I successfully tackled cracks and a route rated 11A or 11B, which reassured me of my climbing skills, contrasting with the less meaningful satisfaction I get from bouldering. Overall, the session was a moderate effort that was enjoyable, particularly because it allowed me to spend time with Patrick again.

Overview of my morning
I overslept and got out of bed at 6:30 am instead of my intended 6:00 am, feeling somewhat disappointed yet okay with it. My mornings typically require two hours before I fully engage in my activities. Today, I plan to focus on batch processing over data, and I'm eager to see how it will turn out. For breakfast, I had eggs.

Food and mood for the day
Today felt slow despite accomplishing a fair amount, and it's all a matter of perspective. Breakfast was a delightful avocado and egg bagel, followed by a lunch of leftovers, yet there was a tinge of regret after giving in to Chick-fil-A, contrary to intentions to cut down on fast food. Tomorrow's meals are planned to be eggs for breakfast and ramen for lunch, highlighting a current scarcity of food at home. There's enthusiasm about meal planning, which has proved to be convenient, relieving mental pressure, and the hope is to continue this positive trend in the coming weeks.

Jono mentioned that rainy weather is ideal for planting, prompting the person to plant several things. They planted Thai basil, chioga beets, golden beets, and sorrel. The person admits to casually tossing seeds into the ground without considering the space they require. They express a 'hope for the best' attitude towards the growth of the plants.

The note reflects a desire to discuss grid systems with Jordan later, specifically concerning the homepage for a new project, perhaps titled "burrito dot." The author is considering the implementation of a grid layout for various components such as surf, weather, and garden status. They are intrigued by the idea of organizing these elements into a specific grid pattern.
