Feb 19, 2024 - 10:15am

Breakfast

I recently enjoyed a burrito from Taqueria Los Ruiz and it was great. There's nothing better than a breakfast burrito after surfing.

"Riding Giant Waves at Tormo: A Messy but Memorable Surf Session"

Feb 19, 2024 - 9:53am

Surf ag tourmo let’s gooo

I had a good time surfing at Tormo despite the messy and windy conditions. The waves were big and fun, which allowed me to catch some giant waves on my longboard. The waves measured about six to eight feet, making it a pretty solid session overall. It was an overall pretty nice time surfing.

"Productive Days and Surfing Adventures"

Feb 19, 2024 - 8:12am

Morning

I woke up at 6 and got straight to work on my Llama.cpp, made some changes, and submitted them for review, hoping for acceptance and a merge. After work, I'm heading to Tourmaline to surf despite the mild rainy weather. Upon returning, I plan to relax, possibly finish Kyle's sweatshirt, meditate, do some shopping, and clean up my code, which I currently consider subpar. I intend to tackle some easy tasks on my to-do list to smooth out any issues and improve my code's overall quality.

"Savoring the Simple Pleasures: A Homemade Gnocchi and Brussels Sprouts Dinner"

Feb 18, 2024 - 9:02pm

Dinner

I enjoyed homemade gnocchi and brussel sprouts for dinner, which were rich in butter, making them taste quite good. The meal was satisfying, and I'm pleased to have leftovers for both lunch and dinner the next day. After that, I'll need to prepare some new food.

"Sewn with Love: Kyle's Custom Sweatshirt Hood"

San Diego, City Heights

Feb 18, 2024 - 5:59pm

In progress sweatshirt hood for Kyle!

A work-in-progress orange sweatshirt hood is showcased, with someone's hand inside it to demonstrate shape. The textile fabric appears soft and porous, with characteristic fleece texture. Notable detailing includes a deliberately unfinished, frayed edge where the hood might be attached to a sweatshirt, exhibiting untrimmed threads hanging freely. Two parallel, wavy black stitch lines run down the middle, adding a touch of design to the otherwise solid-colored hood.

"Finding Comfort in the Daily News: A Warm Bath for the Mind"

East San Diego, City Heights-San Diego

Feb 18, 2024 - 3:43pm

I wonder how media does. I may feel the same with YouTube, or Twitter. This kind of mindless comfort disguised in information but in reality is something else

This is a close-up of a printed text on a blue background. The text is a passage that reflects on the act of reading a newspaper, drawing a comparison to the comfort of settling into a warm bath. It mentions the author's memory of reading Marshall McLuhan's view on the subject as a teenager. The text captures a moment of personal insight where the author relates to McLuhan's metaphor.

"A Day Full of Surf, Sun, and Discovery"

Feb 18, 2024 - 8:59am

Surf plan

The surf is expected to be big, possibly 8 to 10 feet, and the excitement is high. The plan is to head to Swami's with Chandler, using a board borrowed from him. In addition, there was a particularly good cup of coffee this morning, contributing to the day's positive start. It's anticipated to be a healthy day full of fun discoveries for both the speaker and David.

"The Internal Struggle: Choosing Between Fast Food and Personal Growth"

Feb 17, 2024 - 8:13pm

I had Chick-fil-A for dinner, a choice that left me displeased because it didn't align with my personal growth aspirations. I felt stuck between having Chick-fil-A or opting for pizza and beer at Zia's, which seemed like a better experience. However, opting for fast food felt more like succumbing to an addiction than making a satisfying choice. I dislike the craving for such foods and prefer to be content without giving into it.

"Adventures with Kyle and Miriam"

Feb 17, 2024 - 5:43pm

Day so far

After climbing with Kyle and Miriam and tackling the challenging STEMI 11, I experienced an intense workout for my hip flexors. In the morning, I updated Lava 1.6 and improved server support for it. I enjoyed leftover steak and potatoes for lunch. I'm undecided about dinner but plan to dine out.
