Happy New Years Eve,

Today I went to climb w/Will & Justin at

G2 (The Grotto off Miramar). It was nice

to boulder. I probably went a little too

hard. I met Mitchell and his partner

Nikita. Mitchell is/was a swimmer who as

a rookie stayed at Wills house. Will was the

rookie who stayed with me. *

After climbing we went to Tikka Pizza

Kitchen next door. We were smelling it

most of the time we were climbing.

It was nice. We (Will & Justin) shared

a tikka pizza and some durbun momos.

The pizza was so great.

Otherwise have been spending most of the

day playing w/categories and rebuilding

by website or barrito. I’ve hit a sticking point.

How do I actually query the categories?

The data is there, but not visible to the user

yet. May need to adjust prompt. And find in

the right metadata. A new methodology is needed soon.

Today was eventful with a pleasant dinner party I hosted for Caroline, Patrick, and Kyle, reuniting this group for the first time in two years. The evening was filled with meaningful conversations, vulnerability, and appreciation for the company. I also visited Nick to help with their business spreadsheets, exploring potential additional income. Tomorrow's plans include a bike ride to Mnemonic to spend time writing and reflecting on recent discussions, fueled by energy and an espresso.

This morning started off late due to a restless night dreaming about the Vision Pro, but it turned out wonderfully. I played disc golf with my friend Ryan and managed to get some writing done, which felt awesome. Later, Keith joined us for more disc golf, and we also spent some time slacklining. I biked to and from the disc golf course, adding a pleasant touch to the day. For lunch, I tried a new place called Chris Ono Grinds and had their volcano chicken, which unfortunately didn't meet my expectations due to its excessive sweetness. Despite that, the day was filled with simple joys like spending quality time with friends without any drama or expectations, just enjoying each other's company. As for the rest of my plans, I'm contemplating a trip to Culp Valley but also recognize the need to focus on completing tasks and making food for myself. Though I want to balance leisure and productivity, I'm aiming for a more significant focus to achieve meaningful progress. In essence, today reinforced the importance of connecting with friends and finding balance in life's activities.

They appreciated getting to know their friends better and felt rewarded when their friends recognized their tech background in addition to their climbing skills. They had a rewarding conversation over Thai food for dinner and snacked on cliff bars throughout the day. Overall, it was a good day out climbing with friends in Joshua Tree.

At the climbing gym, I launched my website which I aim to simplify and possibly enhance with AI. After a fulfilling climbing session and therapy, I'm feeling physically and emotionally drained and looking forward to reset tomorrow, possibly spending time with Chiaki. Completed tasks today include my website launch; I plan to keep improving it and integrating continuous updates. Contemplating the necessity of social dynamics for the existence of platforms and deciding to relax with an episode of "Foundation," I consider reviving my writing efforts in the near future.
