Transcript: going to wrap up the day and mostly just chill. I read a bit of Sand Talk today, and that was fantastic. I also read the tea book that Jono gave, and I had pasta for lunch, no breakfast, and for dinner I'm still debating what to do. But pretty good day. Talked to Austin on the phone. That was great catching up with him. But, yeah, just moving on with the day.
I had a rejuvenating afternoon filled with enjoyable activities and conversations, including a chat with Jamie, a nice talk with John, and catching up with Jono over tea since his return from New Zealand. I also made myself a sandwich, went for a bike ride, and I am looking forward to a homemade dinner of salmon, kale, and rice. It's 7:30 now, and after dinner, I plan to take some time for separate notes regarding calls and such. Today was simply a great day.

I enjoyed making breakfast tacos and surfing at Del Mar with Chandler, appreciating both the company and the activity after a long hiatus. The waves were relatively mellow at four to five feet, contributing to a serene surfing experience. The day brought a refreshing change of pace, focusing on writing and reflection rather than my usual building activities. Overall, it was a good and relaxed start to the morning with contemplation as the primary agenda for the day.

Today was eventful with a pleasant dinner party I hosted for Caroline, Patrick, and Kyle, reuniting this group for the first time in two years. The evening was filled with meaningful conversations, vulnerability, and appreciation for the company. I also visited Nick to help with their business spreadsheets, exploring potential additional income. Tomorrow's plans include a bike ride to Mnemonic to spend time writing and reflecting on recent discussions, fueled by energy and an espresso.
Today's been a good day overall. It's now 6:30 PM, and I'm set to make dinner, having skipped lunch and snacked on peanut butter pretzels from Costco instead. Workwise, I managed to organize all my projects, using Basecamp as a tool, though I'm still assessing its effectiveness for my needs. I also progressed with Darren's app to a new version and developed a bit more of a dashboard for a wedding project with John, despite its uncertain future. The planning aspect of my work gives me the most satisfaction. Tomorrow, I'm eager to dive into the "Burrito" project, exploring Jordan's design and considering which modules to add. I'll experiment with labeling features in private mode to see if they add value. Although labeling everything is cumbersome, it could ultimately be worthwhile. I spent about four hours on computer and programming tasks, which felt okay but somewhat less than ideal. Tonight, I plan to relax, cook steak and a salad for dinner, possibly adding an egg cooked in the steak juices. After an enjoyable bike ride post-call with John, I'm winding down from what I consider a pretty solid day.

Today was pretty cool because I got to spend it hanging out with Kim and Jordan, just talking and catching up. We even went for a little bike ride around the bay, which was lovely. Now I'm back home and thinking of heading to crack night for a bit before calling it a night. I'm quite tired, but I'll probably grab something to eat first. Lunch was amazing; we went to this Mexican place called Las Brasas and had burritos and tacos. It was great catching up and also seeing Bernard and Henry, the two dogs. There's still so much more to catch up on, but overall, it was a really nice day.
