Comment: Garden update
Text
No voice note this time, since I went out to record one and the voice notes app only recorded half :(
The potatoes continue to grow nicely. Still very very young, but look good. Kale was used up a fair bit, but enough to eat some here and there. Bok choy definitely needs to be eaten soon. Romaine is doing fairly well, we did eat a lot of it last week, but lots of growth still. The broccolini is flowering often, probably need to use it this week. Maybe stir fry? Brussel sprouts leaves should be used. The plant itself isn’t going to produce :( Spinach remains a bummer. None of the seeds have shown any growth yet.

The garden update includes the progress of various plants such as healthy potatoes, small spinach plants, growing amara greens and broccolini, and the need to use Brussels sprout leaves. The romaine and bok choy are doing well, while the rainbow mizuno looks better after cutting. There is uncertainty about the beets sprouting, but the parsley and cilantro are doing great.

The garden update includes the following: the potatoes are doing well after recent rain, the amara greens are coming back strong, the spinach is showing improvement but not yet usable, the broccolini is a great snack, the brussels sprouts won't produce sprouts but the leaves are edible, the romaine is enough for another salad, the bok choy is still good, and the rainbow mizuna is edible but not doing great. Overall, the garden is looking good and the parsley in the backyard is growing well.

Potatoes in the garden are emerging but require another 2-3 months to mature. There's a plentiful supply of kale and an unidentified leafy green, ideal for sandwiches, as well as a sufficient amount of broccolini and romaine for eating soon. Bok choy is ready to harvest, and there are about three heads, along with an enjoyable purple mustard-like green known as rainbow mizuna. Overall, there are various greens progressing, with some ready for harvest and others needing more time.
