"Exploring Interconnectivity and Intentionality: Reflections on Richard Rudd's Gene Keys Project"

Feb 3, 2024 - 9:48amSummary: Listening to Richard Rudd on Rick Rubin's podcast, the speaker reflects on Rudd's description of the Gene Keys project and its connection to the speaker's own experiences, particularly with their "burrito project" that might be aptly renamed "intentional computer". The concept of interconnectedness emphasized by Rudd appears similar to the speaker's journey of intention and the discovery of multiple interconnected paths. The ancient sages are mentioned as preferring silence to avoid misinterpretation of their teachings, highlighting the complexity of articulating such interconnectivity. Finally, the speaker is struck by the resonance of this interconnected feeling, despite its challenging, dynamic, and sometimes confusing nature, even playfully linking these reflections to the concept of microdosing.

Transcript: It's really strange listening to, I believe it's Richard Rudd, yeah Richard Rudd on Rick Rubin's podcast and as just describing the interconnected nature of I guess this project or philosophy I'm not sure exactly what it is called Gene Keys and I don't know anything about it but the way that it's being spoken about is very reminiscent of some experiences that I've had and even working on the burrito project currently and maybe renaming it intentional computer is makes more sense but what what's interesting about it is that it applies in so many ways and going down the intention path leads me to all these other paths and the problem is that it's fundamentally all interconnected and I think that what he just said is you know the sages of old in some sense would prefer to say nothing because you know if you say something then it's taken as gospel gospel of a kind there's like if you say nothing you can at least try to understand the interconnectedness yourself yeah it's fascinating just the sense and feeling of it I don't know the feeling resonates that's all that's really all I'm saying is the feeling of that interconnectedness makes a lot of sense because in some it feels like living in it it's like trying to express it is so damn difficult because it's living it's living it's growing it's changing it's communicating with itself and like following those tendrils and pathways confusing at times it doesn't make sense so yeah anyway makes me think maybe microdosing too but that's a different story
