The speaker acknowledges a personal need for greater openness to new experiences and a desire to be surrounded by people who also embrace this mindset. They believe that being surrounded by open-minded individuals would greatly enhance their life.

Transcript: I am also thinking about the role of the curator. Well, I'm not thinking about it. I'm listening to Rick Rubin talk about it with Daniel Kaluuya. I'm not sure how to pronounce his last name. And yeah, it just makes me wonder, like, what are the things that we're curating in our lives and what are the things we wish to curate, and what is the programming that is important? And I guess, yeah, when you have infinite choice, how do you discover things? And I think that's a lot of it, discovery and being open. And yeah, I guess I would have never discovered highlining unless I was open to slacklining in the first place. And I never would have discovered slacklining unless I was open to going outside and climbing in the first place. So I'm seeking that out. And maybe that's really something, just being open to different experiences. And that's something that I even need to do better about in my own life. I'm often not very open to experiences. So yeah, and neither are some people around me, and I think I want to be surrounded by people who are more open to experience. That would be really, really cool.
