Transcript: You know what might be interesting source material for the brain, which, by the way, we need to come up with a real name for. The brain is not a very good name by any stretch of the imagination. But good source material for it is Brian Eno's diary, at least as a way to reflect through a year's time and experiment with what is that like and kind of go from there. Of course, the large language model probably has some idea of what this text is. So going to have to think about that one. But regardless, I think it might be interesting to play with. The other thing that it needs is, well, thinking about it is going up to Alex and Bailyn's place today. Alex seemed to be pretty impressed by, I guess, going from voice note to summary and transcript, which I also do find quite impressive. It is kind of like remarkably quick and easy. And I find getting a summary of the voice note or even just a transcript is remarkably helpful. It effectively hooks back into looking back at your day or something. So maybe one thing to do is just get a text message at the end of the day. And maybe that's some good enough kind of encouragement. So maybe what I'll do is either set up another account on the Mac Mini or, yeah, I guess we'll see. And just have it send me a text message at the end of the day and see if that works kind of as a service. That's interesting. Just to feel like what it's like to have some level of reflective coming back to me. And then maybe also thinking about using it as a surface, as an input surface, just sending voice memos directly to it. I don't know if that will feel very good, but it might be worth a shot and kind of be more natural in some sense. And I wonder if it's something that I can kind of give my friends more easily and then provide some level of context into it or something. I don't know. We'll see. It's an idea to play around with potentially that's very in the realm of what is being built already. So yeah.

The speaker is reflecting on their experience with making audio burrito posts, noting that it often requires multiple attempts to get into the correct mindset—similar to drafting written posts. They're grappling with the challenge of monologuing without a clear understanding of the audience, as they are aware that at least John and CJ will hear it, but uncertainty about the wider audience affects their ability to communicate effectively. This creates a 'contextual membrane shakiness' as the speaker finds the lack of audience boundaries difficult to navigate, which they recognize may vary among different people. The speaker concludes by deciding to end the current note and start a new one.

I've always been drawn to the peculiar and unexplored, which makes me wonder if I can pepper my writing with a bit of the offbeat—things that don't quite fit the mold. Question is, can I make it work? Ditching the third-person narrative and opting for a chat with you in the first person could make my stories feel more intimate, more like we're in this together. And hey, isn't that what storytelling's all about? Let's find out.

The speaker conveys their frustration with a difficult fundraising experience, describing a particularly unsatisfactory video call with a fund representative. Feeling disillusioned, the speaker is left with a distaste for these disengaged "NPCs" and remains focused on their vision of fostering creative and engaging spaces.
